The Inspiring Journey of Felly Gomes
Felly Gomes stands as a beacon of inspiration in wellness, sustainability, and cultural preservation. Hailing from the vibrant village of Assagao in Goa, India, Felly seamlessly integrates yogic wisdom and environmental stewardship into his life's work, creating a profound impact on communities across two continents. Guided by the rhythms of nature, his teachers, and his gurus, Felly empowers his students at Amalur Yoga through intention, meditation, pranayama, and asana. The name "Amalur," meaning "Mother Earth" in Euskera, encapsulates Felly's deep connection with nature. Rooted in the rich culture of the Basque Country, Amalur embodies authenticity, biodiversity, and natural beauty—qualities that resonate deeply with Felly's teachings. In Basque mythology, Mari, the powerful goddess of nature, and her protector Sugaar symbolize the balance of feminine and masculine energies. This duality mirrors the Indian divine entities Shiva and Shakti, reflecting Felly's mission to harmonize these energies in his practice. Felly's journey spans two vibrant cultures. He spends his summers in Spain from March to September and winters in India from October to February. This cultural exchange forms a strong foundation between India and Spain. While in India, he guides groups from Spain on spiritual journeys to sacred places. Conversely, in Spain, he introduces Indians to the rich heritage of the Basque region through events at Castillo Sopeña and the surrounding areas. As the visionary founder of LIVE HAPPY GOA(https://livehappygoa.com), Felly has led initiatives for over a decade to empower less privileged children through education and advocate for effective waste management in Goa. This NGO, started in his personal home in Goa (Location), is sustained by his devoted team. At Castillo Sopeña, where Amalur Yoga and ACAC( Association Cultural Aquas de Castillo) are based here (Location), Felly curates wellness experiences that seamlessly integrate ancient yogic practices, cultural immersion, and environmental consciousness. This venue serves as a hub for raising awareness and fostering a deeper connection with nature. WHY AMALUR YOGA?
Amalur yoga is based on healing the four realities of our life, namely the Body (Karma), Mind (Gnana), Emotion (Bhakti), and Energy (Raja). Only when these are in alignment can we truly manifest our humanness. Ancient yogic technics are a proven way to find awareness, giving us a framework to understand our existence.

FOR WHOM?
We believe Yoga Is for Everyone. People do yoga to stretch or to relax or to contort their bodies. But the magic is that they connect with a deeper & calmer place within themselves. Which is the goal of yoga.

OUR VALUES
Yoga help you live in symbiosis
with nature

Influenced by my gurus, teachers, peers, the environment and my travels, I aim to bring a unique sense of empowerment to each of my classes. Through the tools of intention, meditation, pranayama and asana, my goal is to have my students leave each class feeling refreshed and renewed in mind, body and spirit.
I teach through a method that provokes thought and meaning - letting the students experience for themselves through careful planning and energy reading. My classes are always challenging physically and mentally, delivered in English and Sanskrit with uplifting music, minimal demonstrations and maximum hands-on assists. I aim to live a yogic life inspired by the environment.
